| Well, the aspartame is really not a good idea! Water is, of course, your best option. After that, something sweetened with Splenda. Many people have had stalls on aspartame and it is not an "authorized" sweetener in Dr. Aktin's book! Good luck! Stacy

| It still has caffeine and if you're sticking to the book, then you wouldn't want any caffeine. It has 31.5 mg per 12 oz, not a whole lot, but not nothing either. Here are the ingredients Water, Citric Acid, Tea, Natural Flavors, Aspartame**, Potassium Citrate, Malic Acid. **Phenylketonurics: contains Phenylalanine
