Default Movie Theater - Snacks?

So I've always been an avid-movie goer. I loved going to theaters. The sad part? About half of my enjoyment came from the snacks at the concession stand. I love theater style popcorn.

I know I won't be able to just stop going to the theater while on this WoE, so I was just wondering if you guys had some suggestions for a few Atkins-friendly snacks that I could just bring in my purse? Just a little something so I don't feel deprived with everyone around me stuffing their faces with popcorn and nachos. Anything would help! Thanks.

Which phase are you at? If you are in induction I can think of pork rinds (easy, they are loaded with salt)

Yes I'm in induction... I actually just hit the two week mark but am doing extended induction. And I've tried the pork rinds... just wondering if there was any other option, or is that pretty much what induction would limit me to?

Also some suggestions for OWL would be appreciated too, I'm not there yet but it'll be nice to know when I get there.

I have diced up celery, jicama and cauliflower into "popcorn" sized pieces and eaten it out of a bowl. They could go in a ziplock and hide in your purse. Also, the microwave cheese crackers would be good. Just make sure they are packed to travel. Too much jostling around and you will be enjoying crunchy cheese crumbs. You could make the ham, cream cheese and cucumber rolls and slice them into bite sized poppable bits.
I will brainstorm for ya some more.

oh I feel ya. I had a SERIOUS popcorn addiction and went to a theater at the end of week one. I told my then BF to be prepared to haul my big butt outta the popcorn popper cause I was fixing to jump in face first and inhale every kernal!

I took- precut pieces of cheese (lil squares) and a GIANT bottle of water. satisfied me and kept me from stealing the strangers popcorn that was surrounding me. Lil pieces of cauliflower cut up would work as well if you HAVE to have crunch. pepperoni slices are a nice addition to the cheese for a lil spice.

Now that I'm on OWL, I carry 1-ounce ziploc baggies of almonds in my purse. Those are great during a movie. They sell flavored varities at the store that are very good, but very pricey and often have sugar added to them, so I make flavored toasted ones at home with cinnamon and splenda or chili powder and lime juice. It's a very decadent thing to sneak into a movie. Too bad I can't find a way to smuggle my water bottle in! Their bottled water prices are outrageous at my theatre!

Beef Jerky.
Homemade cheese chips.
You can make the parmesean flax cracker recipe but cook it in little blobs instead of spreading it out so its like popcorn size to snack on.

How about pepperoni slices - and they aren't noisy.
