Starting again with strict induction!

Well, I'm home from vacation, which was wonderful. Unfortunately, I was off Atkins from about day 3 of it, and now feel yuck. I really didn't follow ANY rules while gone, and now have gone a little over a week off Atkins. With TOM and vacation hitting at once I snapped I guess! In the process, I have gained .8 lbs, and although my weight didn't do much, my waist is bigger as all my new clothes that were roomy feel a little too snug. Plus, my energy level is down to nothing, as I haven't exercised either. I'm ready to start again on a clean and strict induction, as I don't like feeling like this! I think I just needed to confess and say to others I'm restarting, as that way I'll stick to it. My hubby lost a lot, but he gave up a while back and hasn't gotten back on. (Actually, he would SAY he was still on Atkins and then go off and eat whatever he wanted when I wasn't around) I guess without that support at home I'm having more trouble. I think deep down he'd like me to stop like him so he doesn't feel as bad about it. But I'm not doing it! I will get down to goal, and I'd like to do it by August 1st! (well, I'd like to wake up tomorrow at goal, but I think that would be a little unrealistic! ) Also, thatnks to everyone on this site. While I was away I only got one or two minutes to check the board and everything was so much harder without seeing the posts and having this support group! This board really makes a big difference!

Good for you for getting back on the plan! You know how bad you feel going off of it, so that in itself should be an encouragement to stay on. I know what you mean about this board. I would have quit already if it wasn't for the folks here! Keep us posted!

Hey girl! It's good to see you again! I'm glad you had a wonderful vacation. If all you gained was .8 lbs and you're jumping back in - good for you- that's taking control!
