| This is normal!!! Your last 15 pounds may take a while, but you want that time for your body to adjust and make it PERMANENT!! You have done so well . . . 80 pounds in 6 months?!?! Be patient. These last few pounds will come off! Be proud of your accomplishments!! Stacy

| Congrats on your wonderful shrinkage! I know about losing those last pounds...takes forever, just when goal is in sight and you want the loss to speed up. But... they will come off, and when they do, you'll look back and it'll seem like they went in no time at all! Looking forward to seeing you in maintenance!

| You're doing great. I've been told that the final 20 pounds are slower. I was stuck on the same weight for over 9 months, but I didn't let it get to me too much cause I was having medical issues and using lots of meds and doing less exercise. However, instead of being depressed or frustrated over not moving along as fast as you did, use this time to really evaluate your weight loss plan. Maybe you need to bump up the exercise routine, practice better portion control or just relax and let it happen. I started losing this past month in spite of the meds and abscense of exercise...my body has caught up and started losing again. Hang in there, re-evaluate and don't give up. "Slow weight loss" is better than "No weightloss"!!

Some folks lose all their weight on EI, but don't learn about their body well enough to eat in the real world afterwards and gain it all back. (I did, once - and got back extra)

| One suggestion that I would like to make is to think of it as changing your life-style instead of having self-control or will-power. If you give yourself a positive thought that this is a positive permanent change in your life...then it will give you more motivation to stick to it. You sound like a very smart teen...I wish I'd displayed the great attitude you have when I was your age..it would have saved me a half a life-time of letting food control me. Best wishes!! You can and will do this!! Please continue to keep us posted on your success.
