| Hey Dimple_Flirt, I haven't had any of that poison since I found Atkins a little over a month ago. I used to feel that way though. Thank goodness that's all out of my system now, I'm feeling so good it's unbelievable! |

| PS - If you read in DANDR Chapter 4 that starts on page 38 you'll probably find that you are Group B like I am. Which means you're one of the 3 types that need to control their carbohydrates! |

| One time I decided I would work in the carbs of a half and apple...I ate it and nearly fell asleep at work!!!! I was working nights and I had been fine prior to eating the half an apple....which I ate alone with nothing ease like fat or protein to slow the glycemic surge...I learned my lesson for me when I do have fruits which is not at all often I have cheese or chicken with it or have it in something like chicken salad with mayo and celery and a few nuts

Side question. Does anyone else get "hot" if they eat too many carbs. Particularly when i was heavier, a sugar or carb snack used to leave me with a super-duper hot flash a few weeks later. - Thinker |

| I feel the heat rising from my body too. Funny, when I'm on straight protein/vit/water my body shrinks and I feel cold alot of the time and my hands are normally icey cold and dry compaired to hot and clamy. |
