| Some people get it, some don't. It usually takes a couple days before it hits you...but some of the common symptoms are headache, fatigue, dizziness, etc. Take something for the headache and fight through it, and it'll go away after a couple days.

| Usually by the 3rd day your body will have successfully switched from carb to fat metabolism as it's primary energy source. The in-between time has your body running low on fuel and flushing the system, which depletes your energy level, causes tremendous cravings for carbs, and often a large loss of fluid & electrolytes along with toxins your body gets rid of. Drink to replace fluid & electrolytes as much as possible, and the feelings should resolve quickly.

| I LOVE LOVE this site and you peoples... so much info from people who are such a success. I really believe I can do this for life knowing there are others out there to chat with. I lost 20 lbs when my DH was in Iraq and then he came home and we went on a cruise (yikes!) and then we had a baby...during pregnancy I ate all carbs and gained 60 lbs...have lost 50 of that but want to be at least 160-170 before we try for another family member. Ultimately I want to be at 150 and active. So thanks again for taking the time to answer questions. You guys/gals rock. |
