| I have moved my scales from my bedroom to the bathroom as my DH is needing to lose a few pounds again, and found that in the bathroom it weighs me as 7 pounds more than where I have been using it previously! But as I am only weighing myself once every 6 weeks for real (6 WEC) I will leave it where he can easily track his progress and move it back in 5 weeks time for my weighin.

| We knew something was up with the old scales when our guests and my daughter reported that they weighed up to 3 kgs less when they came to visit us. However, when they went home they said their scales remained the same. On the other hand, we have realised that the scale is only a number and the way that we feel, the little whooshies of weight loss that seem to magically occur and the new energy we have found are the incentives to stick with this WOE. So maybe it might be a good idea to like, Elizellen, make a regular date for a weigh-in and forget the scales for a while. Let's see!! Best wishes Julie |

| I don't know what kind of scale you have, but if it's the spring mechanism type scale, you can re-calibrate the scale by using a known weight. For example, if you have 1 kilogram item (that you know is 1 kilogram), you can put that on the scale and adjust it. I'm not sure if you can re-calibrate the digital scales.....
