| I checked the Crisco website for ingredients, and it was just soybean oil. It should be completely fine. I personally prefer to fry wings in corn or peanut oil for higher smoke temps, but Crisco oil should do the job as well.

| If it's the liquid oil, it should be okay. You would want to avoid the vegetable shortening (the solid white stuff), because that's basically hydrogenated/trans fats.
