| Amy Yep....open the book. It's great advice. as well there is so much of it you will read it over and over again. Carry it with you. Some people count ALL carbs some count NET carbs. The difference is : net is carbs-fiber=net carbs. Don't trip too much about going over here or there....it's definitely a learning process. You have made a decision to change your life. Take your time! Learn about your body and what it can and cannot tolerate. Ask plenty of questions and re-invent yourself! It feels soooo good I promise! And with diligence and tenacity the end result physically, mentally, emotionally and personally will be something that you can reflect upon as a growth like no other. As such, you will question mainstream and conventional products, advice and recommendations. And rightly so. The health of the American public (and beyond) is truly being sacraficed like guinnea pigs with trans fats and high fructose corn syrup. We're a governmental science experiment going bad. I wish you much success on this woe and hope you take it day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute and learn what I have about my body, myself and my family.
