| I dont think you have anything to worry about. I think your body is just adjusting to the 7lb loss you have already had. Keep your chin up, stay focussed and I can almost guarantee that you will start losing again soon. Rich

| Hi Lobstah - same thing is happening with me - i lost 8 the first two weeks, and that second week it was just up one down one... i finally put the scale in the closet until Sunday. That way i am not stressing out over it. Good luck!

| Same thing here. I have 8 lbs to go til goal, and it doesn't want to come off. Hold the course, your body needs time to adjust, this is extremely common after the first two weeks of induction, happened to me too. Also, weight loss is not straight forward, you will have "Wooshes". Basically meaning you are still losing fat, but your body is holding the fat cells open with water. It's assuming you are going to go back to your high carb ways (responding as if this is a temperary thing) and allow it to refill the fat cell with....fat. When it decides that isn't going to happen, then it dumps the water. So in other words, the scale won't move for a few days...then WOOSH couple lb weight loss. All of this is chemical in your body, and no one knows how long his or her body is going to hold those empty fat cells open. It can be a few days or over a week sometimes. As for the lb fluctuation, thats normal, I get that too. It's water weight, meaning your body is holding on to various amounts of water, usually depending on what you ate the day before. For example, I bought and ate a Carl's Jr low carb (no bun) 7 dollar burger with no onions (was doing errands and had no way to get home for food, and was literally getting sick with hunger) and DAM those things have alot of salt! I checked the scale the next day and showed a 4 lb gain! OMG. I dropped the water weight a few days later after eating "normal" foods. Hold the course, you are doing fine.

| Drink lots of water, that always seems to help.

| You're just adjusting. Put the scales away, because your body can actually fluctuate in weight by 10lbs in one day!! I used to get scared when I'd weigh one weight in the morning, and be 5 lbs heavier in the afternoon, but now I'm used to it. Pick one time of day to weigh and stick to it. I choose morning, as soon as I wake up, I go to the bathroom, then weigh myself before I get dressed or I eat or drink anything
