| good for you realizing the reason for this. Now here is your defenser next time those sticks call your name in a cafeteria line. ASk yourself will the joy iof eating those little cheesy high carb stix be more valuble to me then all the hard work I have done working my Atkins eating right and working out in the gym? Do I want those sticks more then I want to be the healtheir smaller version of me I am working so hard to become? ( if you carry your before pic and your goal weight pic get them out and ask yourself which one of them you want to be in charge of your life and then smile and tell those sticks I can't hear you and the fat lady has left the line! If youare feeling really good buy them anyway and then go out side toss them on the ground and stomp the living daylights out of them grind them up with the dirt and other foul things on the ground and then ask them if they want to talk to you again.

| No one is going to think less of you for cheating. We're all here to help each other. We've all been there too...ate something we weren't supposed to. But the important part is learning from it, and thinking about how you'll tackle the urge to eat something that will make you feel not-so-good about later. You don't know for sure that you won't lose weight. But you do know that your progress will be impeded if you eat something that's not low carb. With that in mind, I know you can do it. You've made the choice to...and you deserve to be healthier and slim! About the scale...the scale isn't always a true indicator of what you have or haven't lost. Even if you don't lose that much weight the first week (although you might!), weight loss is a process- it doesn't happen right away. If you stick to the program, you will lose weight.

| Haha! 2big I found your ideas for avoiding/destroying my temptors hilarious! Side-splitting even. I think that I'm ready for temptation next time it rears its ugly head. I was not satisfied, and all I felt was guilt and gross. It's really not worth it.

| glad you enjoyed them seriously that is how folk quit anything they are addicted to. when the cost of the item to them is greater to them then the momentary pleasure they derive from it the stop using it be it drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, food, whatever. be prepared and you will not have to have a repeat I cheat post.

| One bit of advice I would like to point out. Being that it has not been that long since my school days (I graduated in '03) may I make a few suggestions. Tell your friends what you are doing. So when they see you doing something against what you said when you where in a good state of mind they can stop you. I am not sure about your school but we had to get in a different line to get the junk food stuff. Maybe before buying something like that sit down first and eat your food. Make sure you stay far enough a way from the food counter. I told all my co-workers about my diet when I started it. While I have two meals at work my co-workers always make sure that I eat the right stuff. My supervisior even makes a point to tell me that I am doing a good job on sticking to Atkins. Even the cashier checks my food to make sure I have Atkins only food (She is on Atkins as well.) You know the saying "Friends don't let friends drive drunk"? Well I am going to modify it "Friends don't let Atkins Friends eat high carb food". Now lets get back on the bandwagon and do it right. YOU CAN DO IT!
