Default Confessions of a Cereal Eater

Yep, I have been scarce recently. Pokin' my head in just on occasion. One of these folks who are all mum when they are "being bad". Not that I feel bad about it or even guilty, I am just ready to get back at it. I didn't have any crisis to blame it on, more like I was just burnt out on having to focus on it so much. And prepare all the seperate meals. Anyway, I am not looking for advice or support or an okay from anyone, just wanted to pop on and say "Hey!" to my friends and "Welcome" to the new faces. I did get a chance to do a little catch-up reading and man, you guys have had some doozy threads! Nice to see everyone still kickin'!! Keeps things hoppin!

I am up 6 lbs and had my pre-baby jeans start to tighten up in an uncomfortable way. So here we are.

Now... What's everyone making for dinner tomorrow? And can we see more belly buttons?? MEOW!! Grrrr Baby!

Dinner- mixed salad greens and tomato, cucumber olive oil and lemon juice, Grilled Rib steak and grilled asparagus. I grill using brickets, tasted better than gas to me.

Start back tomorow. Scramble some eggs in butter with a side of bacon for breakfast.

Dinner tomorrow is tilapia filets baked in the oven with melted butter mixed with Old Bay seasoning over them. Probably radishes boiled until soft and then mashed with butter (looks and tastes just like mashed baby redskin taters) for the side. Maybe a salad if DH is super-hungry when he gets out of work.

Nice to see you MommaGlass!
Dinner tonight will probably be pork shank (I think that's what it's called... stinco in Italian) with wild mushrooms. Spinach. Jelly and cream.

Awwww! Thanks for the warm welcome back.

Great ideas for dinner, guys! Thanks!
I picked up a big bag of radishes, that sounds like a good recipe!! I also snagged some portobellas on sale and will saute those with butter and garlic and a pinch of marjoram. *drool* I tell ya, it's been 3 months since I was siked up over food in general. Ever since the move in July.
It's nice to be back!!

Dinner tonight is a roast inspired by Chef Kevin. I stole his recipe from the Crockpot Thread in "Recipe Requests".

Onions
Roast (I used Rump Roast)
Montreal Steak Seasoning
Fresh Green Beans.

I put the onions on the bottom of the pot, then the meat, the the greenbeans, and a dash of seasoning. I'll let you know how it turns out.
