| Oh heavens! A mirror???? The mind boggles! Chomp, chomp, chomp....chew, chew, chew...swallow, swallow, swallow... slurp, slurp, slurp... aaaaaand... BELCH! (well it's Chinese good manners, so they say!!) This would definitely put the breaks on for me!

| What a great idea. Watching yourself eat would definitely force you to think twice. We should all put mirrors beside our tables and keep track of how it affects our eating!

| I think for those of us who have struggled with disorders, it would just make us stop eating. That's one of the things about this WOE that's amazing to me, with WW or SlimFast or whatever, the point is to eat less food. Some of us who if we get busy or depressed about ourselves just stop eating have no problem with eating less food, it's making good decisions for what we put in our mouths. I really think if I had to watch a mirror every time I ate, I just wouldn't do it.

| My brother used to say that it would help if a person watched themselves eat in the mirror nekkid. If I saw my thighs and my tummy while I was sitting there eating, I think I'd lose my appetite really fast!

| What about for the folks who find themselves snacking on chocolate cake or bowls of pasta? Maybe if they had to eat their non-Atkins food in front of a mirror that would stop them?

| well since looking in the mirror thier actions would be backwards the fork would not find the mouth as easily and the visits to the emeregency room for the body burns from all the dropped hot food might do wonders for the weight loss.
