| Well, obviously she's very insecure and has very low self-esteem. She transferred your rejection of the berries onto herself, thus, taking the berry-rejection personally. You could say "it's not you, it's your berries". I don't know. That's kind of an odd response (on her part - not my response, of course - lol)

| could be she brought the berries not to share but as a means to ingratiate herself with everybiody else and since fresh strawberries are out ofd season now she thought the extra effort whe went to would go a long way towards her goals but not taking them didn't let her accomplish that with you.

| Thanks everyone for your thoughts! I myself used to go around and offer everyone candy or cookies-but if someone declined I had no problem with it. Mainly it was just to be friendly and boost morale a little (not that it needs boosting, but you know what I mean). But sheesh I never expected everyone to accept the item.
