| I do not know how that meat and egg fast even works, given the protein overload. Sounds so awful.

| True, this is a great board! Another way to look at being on those other boards -- spread the word of Atkins. There are a few dedicated Atkins-followers over there who try to bring sanity to the M/E fasters, the Fat fasters, the low-cal (<800 cal) advocates, etc. It's fustrating at times, but if you believe in something...well, you just keep trying. Or drink heavily...

| It's funny you mention this. There's another site that I use to track food/exercise/measurements/bmi 'cause it has some *really* freaking awesome charts, but they have a forum section I just don't care for (hence why I spend so much time here).

| I was pretty psyched when Tom started the sister boards. I love this site, and I also enjoy learning about other successful woe's. The various other boards out there are just too chaotic. Too much confusion over what's what and so on.

| You mean to tell me there are other Atkins Boards out there? This place has been my home for well over three years. Yessss, I know there are other places. I visit them. But, this is home. The members here are the best!!

| I would never endorse any extreme plan, like M/E fasts, or any fasts for that matter .. to me, that's not healthy .. and the big question is, what happens when you go go off them? But having said that .. its important to find the plan you can stick with for LIFE and not every plan works for every person .. even Dr. Atkins said that. Atkins is definitely my life-choice and ADBB rocks, but I don't think it ever hurts to recognize that we're all different and have different ways of tweaking what works. Betty
