Default a good bad time to eat?

Hi gang,

Ok induction is going sweet better then last time, however when I did this in the UK I used to eat around 8-8.30 at night my last meal, now with work commitements Im not going to be eating until around 10.00pm ish, is that a problem?

Also.. Im still waiting for my new version of the book to come, last time I did induction for 5 months and lost 140lbs, I intend doing induction now all the way until I drop way down (at least 280lbs)... is that going to be a problem, apart form the obvious point I might get bored of the available food.

As I said Im around 540 at this time, I just bought some scales that weigh up to 560lbs for $50.... yeh thats quite cheap.... and Im going to weight myself when they arrive on friday, which is almost 3 weeks... im kinda looking forward to how much ive lost

You don't go more than 6 waking hours without eating something. So if your 6 hour mark is at 8 PM, have at least a small snack (boiled egg, piece of cheese, etc.)

Hi there!

You should come check out the second time around forum, if you'd like to chat with other returnees!

As far as eating at ten goes: I see no reason that should be a problem, but as not2late says, make sure you have a snack in the evening. You don't want to go ten hours without eating anything (assuming you eat lunch at noon). I'd eat something around 5, if I were you. Hard boiled eggs, string cheese, a mini-meal of leftovers, something quick and easy that you can take to work with you and eat quickly, even without reheating.

You can stick to induction for a long time, but I am not convinced that you lose any faster doing it that way. I think going up the ladder a bit is always beneficial, adding more veggies, nuts (they are really healthy) and even fruit rung. Make sure you get some good multivitimins (without iron) because the agriculture industry has done its darnest to remove any flavor and vitamins from our food now.
Once you get the book, read the section on OWL and how to do it and still be a big loser. LOL
Welcome!!

Hi bigsexy

I am glad you have decided to join our ADBB family of losers.

As has been said, you CAN stay on induction for a long time if you want to and are not bored with the limited choices of induciton eating, but you will not necessarily lose weight faster if you do so.

Many people here have found that their weightloss kicked up a notch once they moved from induction to OWL as well as being much more easy and enjoyable to follow!!

I look forward to hearing how well your first few weeks have gone when your new scales arrive!
