| There's a Yahoo group forum "Carboholics Anonymous" at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...licsAnonymous/ Here's the OA 12-steps: http://www.overeatersanonymous.org/twelve_steps.html Ahhh, I can't resist... Step 1. We admitted we were powerless over carbs and the http://www... that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. Came to believe that a smaller appetite and more free time could restore us to sanity. 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of ADBB-ers as we understood them. 4. Made a searching and fearless eating and time management inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to Atkins & Bill Gates, to ourselves, and to other human beings the exact nature of our slip-ups. 6. Were entirely ready to have ANYTHING/ANYONE remove all our defects of habit. 7. Humbly asked ADBB-ers to help guide us to correct our shortcomings. 8. Made a list of all bad carbs we had eaten, and became willing to get up offa our rear ends. 9. Made direct confessions to such people as Cheat Police, except when to do so would take up too much time on the web. 10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. 11. Sought through posting and prompt action to improve our health, weight and free time, as we made progress, praying only for the Whooshie Fairy, extra energy, and appetite control to help us to carry that out. 12. Having had a noticeable improvement as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other carboholics and surf addicts, and to continue practice these principles in all our affairs.
