Default Problems!!!!!! need some help!!!!!!

Im having some problems and I cant figure out what’s going on with my weight.
Im sticking under 22 carbs a day and my menu consist of 2 eggs and 3 strips of bacon in the morning, 3 Hebrew Nat hot dogs for lunch and ill have 2 hamburger patty’s and a salad with dressing that has 3 carbs for dinner and I usually drink my 64 oz of water (sometimes I don’t make the water goal) and I have a table spoon of fat free cool whip to kill the sweet tooth (it says 3 carbs) the cool whip is the only thing that I can think of that may be hurting me, but I don’t know I need some input.

my work out consist of
5 sets of 10 crunches
5 sets of 10 set ups
5 sets of 10 incline push ups
5 sets of 10 regular push ups
5 sets of 15 curls with 10lbs weight dumb bells
5 sets of 10 curls with 40lbs bar
and on Saturday & Sundays I run 2 miles and ride my bike 2 miles

The problem is Im having a hard time breaking the 220lbs mark I get to 215 and stay there for about 3 days and it jumps back to 220lbs and stays at 220lbs for about a week (im going on my third week of it doing this) the weight is going back and forth and it’s driving me nuts anyone know what I can do?
Last time I was on Adkins I stalled at 210 for about 3 weeks and thought that was all I was going to lose so I went off the diet and gained most of my weight back (being lazy) back in a 3 year time frame, now I am determined to make my 180lbs goal but I need some help getting past this mark. Can anyone help?

first a stall is defined by Dr Atkins as 4 weeks of no weight NOR inches lost so you were not stalled at 3 weeks just having a scall weight loss hesitation which are very common.

next you are missing loads of veggies as we are required to consume 3 cups from ther acceptable veggies lists of chapter 11 of DR ATKINS NEW DIET REVOLUTION. Give your copy a looksie.

there are many micronurtients needed toi metabolis fats in those veggies and wghen you skio them you do 3 things you fail to get your nutrients, you fail to make the needed dietary changes and you fail to be fueling Atkins still all day long building habits needed to carry you through to goal.

so add some veggies.

Next it doesn't really matter how much or how little you are having if you are not feeding your hunger when you eat but just filling up even if the foods are legal so did it really take 3 hit dogs to satisfy your hunger? did it take e eggs and 3 pices of bacon to satisfy your hunger? if so all you need to do is add the veggies and you are good to go but if you are eating more then you needed you are over eating your Atkins. listen to and learn your body's hunger signals and feed only them and stop even if you got room in your belly legal foods on the plate and/or carbs in the budget. Once you master that concept you will be an Atkinsa loser for life.

About your exercie are you saying you do the lifting everyday and add cardio only on the weekends? if so you need more cardio

happy low carbing

Definatly ditch the coolwhip. Here is the ingredients list for 'Sugar Free' Cool Whip

Ingredients: WATER, CORN SYRUP, HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL (COCONUT AND PALM KERNEL OILS), LESS THAN 2% OF SODIUM CASEINATE (FROM MILK), NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, MODIFIED CORN STARCH, XANTHAN AND GUAR GUMS, POLYSORBATE 60, SORBITAN MONOSTEARATE, SODIUM POLYPHOSPHATES, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM AND ASPARTAME (SWEETENERS), BETA CAROTENE (COLOR).
The Corn Syrup and corn Starch are going to definately cause issues. Hydrogenated oils are trans fats, and though not a carb issue, it's not good for your heart health and cholesterol.

Ack! That cool-whip is nasty non-food stuff! I know it *Tastes* good, but it's definitely not good on the old body!

Take a hard and realistic look at your water intake. I had to do this recently and I started losing again. You need 64 oz MINIMUM...and I was drinking that, but as soon as I increased to over 100 oz per day...I lost a pound a day for 5 days straight as my body started releasing the water it was retaining. You need a *lot* of water on Atkins.

Also, sounds like you are hitting the exercises pretty hard which is going to sculpt you one heck of a nice looking body pretty soon. BUT, that will cause your muscles to hold water as well in defense against the strain you are putting them under. They will release it in time. Don't let that stop you from doing it.

Just stick through it....and drink lots of water. Feed only your hunger, some days you will be more hungry than others.

That really chaps my....well, whatever! How can they call it "sugar free" when the FIRST ingredient, after water, is corn syrup?!

There otta be a law!

A bit misleading for something labeled "sugar-free"!

And doesn't corn syrup itself have sugar in it? Eck.

You can make your own "whipping cream" just whip some heavy cream and add some splenda. Be sure to count the carbs AND your splenda count per day.

Also, if you are lifting weights and exercising like you are, which is awesome - Make water a PRIORITY!!! Even more so. You should drink half your body weight in water oz. and since you are working out i would add at LEAST 32 oz more. I would say jump your water intake to at least 100 on non exercise days, 130-150 on exercise days.

The way your weight is jumping around to me it sounds like you are retaining water. WATER WATER WATER WATER everyday consistantly just as you do eating and exercising. You've got to teach your body to let go of the water it wants to hold onto, and to do that you need to hydrate majorily. It won't hord water if it knows it will get more soon. AND everytime it releases the water, it will take some fat with it with the way you are working out.

I know its hard but that water is what drives that fat OUT of your body. Figure out a way to get it all down. Its very important and will help your weight start moving downward again.

Good luck!! Keep us posted.

Sher said it better than I did! Thanks, Sher!

One of the ways I convince myself to drink more water is that the more water I drink, the more fat I'll flush down the commode!

I *LOVE* flushing the fat off my thighs down the commode! LOL
