| Si, I came to a crashing HALT on the weight loss a while back. I even had gains. Then I started losing again. When you get closer to your goal, its going to slow down...wayyyyy down. Especially if you are lifting weights. I don't have any science to back this up, but In My Opinion....there comes a time when you are adding lean body mass (muscle) at the same rate, or perhaps even faster than you are losing fat mass. This could result in NO loss on the scale, or even a gain on the scale. I haven't even had much movement on the tape measure....but I am visibly getting smaller. Recently I've had lots of people coming up and commenting on how I'm losing again...but I have no affirmation of that on the scale or the tape measure. So, obviously something is going on. Keep in mind too, that you may *think* that 180 lbs is your target weight. The reality is that you may end up weighing MORE than that but appearing much smaller. Especially if you are lifting. Right now I'm 195 lbs, 10 lbs higher than what my goal is...and I had my body fat tested and I'm at 24% in normal range. The BMI charts say that my goal is 140-167 lbs...there is no way in **** that I'll get down to that.

| Well, I've lost a few inches. Just not that much weight. Guess I'll just have to wait it out.

| Yeah, I was gonna say pretty much what ValidRouge said. It looks like you lift weights, so maybe you ARE losing fat, but it's not showing on the scale because of the added muscle. Don't worry, just stick to it and good things will happen! |

| I haven't lost anything since February after losing 5-8 pounds per month over 10 mo. I wish the scale was still moving down but it isn't. On the plus side it hasn't gone up either. I have been 187 almost the entire time since February. My goal weight and the high end for my height is 150. I don't know if I will see it, but at least I'm not 250 pounds anymore.

| For some people it may become necessary to eat a little less. You may be in the habit of eating certain amounts. When you would actually be satisfied with a little less. I have found over the years that one plate or one serving is enough. But still I am in the habit sometimes of eating a second. Don't let yourself get hungry but just consider if you are eating some food out of habit.

| have you been only eating enough to satisfy our hunger and stopping? many fok over eat their Atkins not realizing as they got smaller the body needs lewss cals to do the exact same thing so they either eat less cause their body needs less or the need to increase the intensity of their exercise to match or exceed the other loss of caloric burn
