Default Carb Master Yogurt

I have found my new love! I'm sure some of you already have heard of it, but for those who haven't. Kroger makes a yogurt called "Carb Master" only 3 net g of carbs and 12 g of protein. I eat one a day and it is like having dessert!!! I was afraid I would go off Atkins only to fulfill my sweet tooth, but this does the trick. They have all flavors, my favs are Vanilla and Strawberry.

Oh yeah, and although I said I wouldn't weigh my self every day, well I did today and I lost another lb. I've never been so excited about a diet before. Tomorrow will be 5 whole weeks w/o cheating. I've NEVER been committed to a diet this long, well I guess it's not really a diet, just a new way of living!

- Sher

Just make sure you're not in induction. Yogurt (real yogurt) is allowed in the dairy rung of OWL.

Even the low carb stuff is only legal for OWL, not Induction.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't think we have a Krogers in WA but I am glad to hear they are still selling anything labelled low carb

Hi Sher, congrats on your loss. I remember seeing those at Kroger, and I believe they have "corn syrup solids" or something similar in the ingredients, meaning they aren't actually Atkins-friendly. I know it sucks, I miss yogurt a LOT. Just double-check the ingredients on those, maybe I am mistaken?

I love Blue Bunny Lite 85 yogurts. They are the BOMB. I believe in the Yogurt Exception although many folk don't. It worked for me. I added it during OWL, 4 months after starting Atkins. Helped me lose, and still helps me maintain. I eat either Blue Bunny Lite 85, or Dannon Plain (full fat in the 32oz container) and add my own sf syrup etc. I have no less than 10 containers in my fridge at any one time, as well as a ton of the BB Lites.

And even if the yogurt exception isn't true, my body appears to not care. I believe it is low glycemic.
