| That guy was backed by a PETA group. So I'm happy they lost this frivolous lawsuit.

| I agree with the title of this thread -- IDIOT! We are members of the most litigious society in the world . . . look at the silly things we sue over! What about personal responsibility? No one made that guy eat nothing but pastrami and cheesebake . . . that certainly would not have been advocated by Dr. Atkins. Yet another example of someone taking the good Dr.'s word and skewing it as justification to eat however they want. Really? Pastrami and cheesecake? Criminy. Wow, I just my blood came close to boiling there . . . okay, better now. Stacy

| I cant even begin to understand how he thought that would stand up in court! There is no place where it says you can eat just Pastrami and Cheese Cake.

DUH we all must have missed it, Part 6, chapter 29 of DANDR specifically states to eat all the Pastrami and Cheesecake we want. What a moron.

| Oops, my bad. Sherry, you are exactly right! Its the same chapter where it says that you should eat all the bacon and sausage you can possibly stomach, and eat a pound of cheese a day. Man...I really have to get readin' again...
