| Get out the measuring tape, the scale is nobody's friend most of the time =). See if your clothes are feeling looser and changes like that. If not it could be the drugs, I really don't know though.

| I think wellbutrin is supposed to be used for dieting as another indication. I think I threw out the package inserts from mine.... I check. Ok, so the website: http://www.wellbutrin-xl.com/benefit...ight_gain.html says that it doesn't increase your chances of weight gain... it also says (in the prescription information) that weight loss is an adverse event that has been associated with taking the medication... meaning chances are that you won't have that as a side effect but it's possible. It doesn't say anything about lessening your chances of losing weight.. I'd suggest asking your doctor. It could just be that you're one of the folks who has a harder time losing weight and your wife has an easier time (which would be a bummer for you - especially since it's usually the other way around).

| Sometimes it's harder the second time around to lose so fast. But hang in there and eat right... and the loss will happen. I'd agree that the scale is not a great way of judging. Far better to measure yourself and see if you're losing inches. Often we drop clothes sizes while the weight takes time to catch up. Are you exercising? That's an integral part of Atkins. If you've just started an exercise regime though it could be that you're exchanging fat for muscle which weighs heavier...hence the scale lagging behind. Also, remember to drink masses and masses of water. Happy low carbing. Keep going... you'll be successful, you'll see. Sometimes it just takes a little time to nudge our bodies into doing what we want.

| Hang in there. Remember, you only have a small amount to loose, compaired to those who have 80 or more. The heavier you are, the faster you loose it at first usually. Also, look for hidden sugars and check to see that you're getting all your veggies. If you don't eat enough, your body puts you into starvation mode and then holds onto the weight you do have. If it's still stuborn, sometimes a fat fast may help, or if you're not doing induction right now...go back to induction. Sometimes you have to tweek it a tad to get things going. And yep, the tape measure will say alot too. Some people loose inches before weight. I know my scales been stuck but yet I look in the mirror and I can tell I'm loosing. Hang in there.
