Default Giddy Euphoria?

For the last week or so I've noticed myself getting an almost giddy or euphoric feeling about 30minutes to an hour after I've eaten. It's not like I feel high or anything its just that I fel so happy and just plain good. It makes me want to dance, (which wouldn't go over well at work), I'm tapping my toes to my music and smiling at everyone. It's an awsome feeling and I'm wondering if it's normal and what is hapening in my body when I eat that would make me feel this way. I'm also wondering how I can feel this way all the time (other then drugs! )

I know what you mean about feeling euphoric...though I don't really notice it after eating--I just notice it in general.

I think my students all think I've gone nuts. I crack jokes, I sing and dance around (at least it's music I teach, and not something where that would be TOTALLY out of the ordinary like say, Geometry class.) I am BURSTING with energy!

I notice that I'm happier with all this energy and things don't annoy me or irritate me as much (oh THANK GOD because I DO have junior high students ha ha) and I can let little issues roll off my back. I would be willing to say that Atkins has improved me not only health-wise, but as an educator!

I am on my second week of induction and after a rough start I feel really good too. I just got back from the gym and I am in the best mood! So I guess for me I feel especially good after excersize. I always felt good after excersize but this is a different feeling. A total feeling of well being and just general happiness! YAY!
