| I dont know specifically about defatted soy flour but generally we are advised to eat 'regular fat' products as the 'lowfat' ones usually have sugar of some kind added. BTW not everyone can tolerate soy flour - which is an OWL rung 7 food group - and it can have a distinctive taste too.

| thanks for the help....I happen to like it...but I decided to eliminate it for a while...I am not making any breads or using any flours at all for a while...see what happens! I know taking the flax out of my diet really helped. No more stomach bloat plus I lost a few more pounds and two inches since I cut it out

| Great - it is good to see you are having success ![]() BTW soy is a rung 7 OWL food, so when you get there try it again to see how it affects you.

| yeah pretty high in the rungs...I don't think it caused a stall or a gain, but I think I was addicted to making breads...and when they were done of course I had to eat them, and I could never control my portion size...heh
