| Each person varies their fitness regime to suit their needs, based on age, ability, injury, time, and likes/dislikes. Here is my usual workout schedule...I am 25, F, started at 265, currently weigh around 210? MONDAY: 10-15 minute cardio warm-up (bike or treadmill), 1 hour Boot Camp Class TUESDAY: rest WEDNESDAY: 10-15 minute cardio warm-up (bike or treadmill), 1 hour Kickboxing Class THURSDAY: 10-15 minute warm-up, 40 minutes strength training ARMS, 30 minutes cardio FRIDAY: 1 hour of cardio (treadmill, elliptical, or bike), abs work SATURDAY: 10-15 minute warm-up, 40 minutes strength training LEGS, 30 minutes cardio SUNDAY: 1 hour of cardio, abs work In the Boot Camp and Kickboxing classes, we do LOTS of toning work with free weights--if I don't go to class, I add in an extra strength training day. I don't know how this schedule compares to others, I just know that I really enjoy exercising, and this plan works for me! One thing I like to do is change up my cardio by switching machines, doing intervals, and keeping my body challenged. Boredom is deadly! Don't get bored, keep things interesting, and you should do well.

| Three mornings a week, I do 40 minutes of full-body resistance training (very short rest periods), followed by 20 minutes of treadmill-walking - in and out of the gym in 1 hour. One more day of the week, I do 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill. Also, 3 mornings a week, I do a 10-minute abdominal video that also incorporates stretching. This covers all my bases!
