Default heavy cream, whipped

i took some heavy cream, i didnt measure it, maybe 3 tablespoons. Whipped it with some artificial sweetner and a pinch of sugar free raspberry jello powder. I stuck it in the freezer for awhile. It was delicious. Well I am new, today is my first day on atkins, and I dont know how many carbs this would be? the heavy cream says 0 carbs. jello mix says 0 carbs. Do I count any carbs for this desert?

DO you use www.fitday.com ? It is very helpful in keeping track. Products that say 0 carbs per serving on the label can actually have up to .49 per serving, so more than one serving and you can see where the 0 wouldn't apply. With 0 carb items like your ingredients, it's usually better to round up. Also, remember your artificial sweetener limit of 3 per day...without knowing exact measurements and seeing the labels, I can't give you an exact count, but I would guess 3 to 4 if you ate the whole batch.

And if you haven't checked out www.fitday.com already, it's a great resource. There's a sticky about it here Fitday!

Yes I use fitday, so far I love it, but it only gives me and option for 1 cup of heavy cream whipped. There wasnt even 1/2 a cup once I was done. So I guess going by fit day, id count it with the amount I had as like 1 carb.

I just pulled up my fitday for cream and it has the options for cups or fl oz in the serving size column and can edit the servings column to whatever amount you used....and if you ever run into something that doesn't match up with what you have, you can create a custom food using the nutrtion label from the product. When you do that, you also select the units for the serving size. Hope this helps!
