| Its around 60 degress here in California. I have an inside gym so I don't feel the weather like most. However, I've tried exercising in the morning, when it's around 40 degrees, and I must admit it was harder on my joints and such. As far as weight loss is concerned, it shouldn't affect much. A calorie burned is a calorie burned. However there is a phenomenon called the Q 10 effect (metabolic activities increase 2-3X every 10 C increase) that may play a role in weight loss, but I'm no scientist so who knows? |

| It's -24 celcius here right now with the windchill...really hampers my exercise cause it was all outdoors based...still find little ways to get it in, but it's rather hard at times. I always thought I would burn more calories exercising in the cold, but according to my doctor you burn more exercising when its hot because your heart has to work harder transporting oxygen. When it's cold, your body doesn't need as much oxygen...*sigh* so even that burst my bubble lol ~Far la bella figura!

| Well I feel like a real wimp because I am freezing and it's a sultry 29 degrees here - but that's cold in these parts. As for the exercise, I find that when I "can't get warm" doing my normal activities during the day, a 1/2 hour workout is just the thing to fix that! |

| It's been 35 below with wind chill here the last few days, if anything, it's helped my workouts as I'm in the house so much! I'm doing my recumbant bike and workout videos as scheduled... |

| When it's cold like that, I only wanna sit by the fireplace and not move much. Of course, snow showelling and wood carrying burns colories, right?

| I have yet to exercise today... but I have to walk to the metro station in an hour... and I seriously dread it. And I have dance tonight. Most of my exercise is indoors, anyway... but I definitely prefer to sit around in my house, with fuzzy socks and a cuppa tea.
