Kylie- Don't worry about sounding preachy...I would never take it that way.

I KNOW this way of eating works as I was a devoted Atkineer for several years and was trim and healthy. I used to walk 3-4 miles a day and do more on fridays. I was upbeat, happy, had great skin and was skinny! LOL!

DOn't ask what happened because I honestly don't know.

I guess I'm just getting old and don't have the mental stamina I once had. Honestly - I'm not physically hungry but I am psychologically hungry. I guess I have ISSUES!

Ana

I do know how you feel...I was almost at goal in 2003...gained it all back - I literally tried to start again and failed DOZENS of times. You'll get there! It's just a pain in the rear until you do. This board helps lots, though!

I heart pepperoni for "on the go." When at home and the snack monster called, I would make and eat devilled eggs. Those really kill a craving for me for some reason. Nuts are GREAT after you get to that rung - but you have to manage portions or those can get away from you quickly.

Chicken drumsticks, celery and creamcheese and indeed deviled eggs, those are things I would keep at hand.

uhmmm.. I kept pepperoni, beef jerky, at least one can of tuna, some cream cheese and peanut butter... I'm usually around a microwave and fridge so I also kept like, taco seasoned beef or chicken and cheese, some eggs (I'm not a big egg fan)...

When I was on Induction and needed snacks (particularly for work), I brought a small insulated lunch bag with food: tuna in foil packets, mayonnaise in the little packets, leftovers, boiled eggs, etc.

Boiled eggs are very handy to have: they come in their own container, they are small, and their fat/protein/carb percentage is very close to the 65%/30%/5% ratio.
