| I am sorry you are in so much discomfort. I have TMJ and know how painful it can be. This is going to sound gross but it has worked for me on several occassions (after maxiofacial surgery): make your chicken breast (as you like) and then puree in the blender. It doesn't get any softer than liquid. It helps if the chicken is seasoned well and very juicy (otherwise you will have to add water.) Good Luck- Ana |

| Induction veggies: All of them (including lettuce) can be cooked, pureed and eaten as a soup. Meat: Simmer until very soft and puree. Add to the soups if need be. Cheese: eat the softer cheeses, like brie or cream cheese. Eggs: you can make a savory custard: boil a 1/2 cup water, and let it cool. Beat 2 eggs, mix in the water and add your vegetable or meat puree and some cheese. Bake in the oven until the custard is set. The water must be boiled, because you want to remove as much air from it as possible---if it's not boiled the custard will have air bubbles.

| I agree about blending the chicken. I run my cooked chicken through my processor and then make chicken salad out of it. You may be able to eat tuna, too. And I wouldn't worry about the weight gain too much. Those shakes probably have all kinds of things that could cause water gain. |
