| Certainly, in the long run, if you abuse induction and repeatedly go on and off it, you might mess up your metabolism. Also, many say that it's harder to lose the second time around... ...but I've never heard of this way of eating "stopping working" completely because your body got used to it. If it stops working (i.e. you stop losing weight), there's a reason, be it medical or technical (as in cheating, falling off wagon). Are you having difficulties? If so... tell us and maybe we can help.

| If it helps I am a second time arounder.....and this time it is going as well as last time if not better! I am wiser about my personal pitfalls, and know better how to avoid them. I am still losing as fast as the first time around, I am not sure what phase you are in, but if you are stuck for awhile, maybe posting a menu for one of the pros will help!

| thanks guys its just that once i got on my target weight i went through maintenancebut completely took my mind off checking the weight. i had gained 40 pounds. I started the 2 week clean induction over again with proper diet and excercise and no results. a friend of mine had been on the diet had this happened to her before. so she broke the diet to fully get her out of ketosis and the excess protein we get and started the induction... what do you think?

| I would only go back to induction, do it as clean as possible and work out, it might take time but you WILL start losing again. Look at it as a ball on a rubberband, it stretches and then will bounce back, but there is this moment where it seems like it's not moving, not going forward nor backwards, I think that is what your body is doing, making kinda steps in place before it will start losing again, don't worry, it'll work!!!!

| I would do meat and eggs for 7 days to kick start you back into ketosis.

| I am sorry, but that is not going to make it go any faster, even when you do eat the amount of veggies that you need every day (the 3 cups) you will still kick start it !!! So leaving out that needed nutricion is NOT gonna help.
