| All depends on who you talk to.... Dr A in DANDR says that HIS shakes are legal for Induction (because he certifies them, and knows what is in them). Many on this board will tell you that you should be wary, because they can cause stalls. Personally, I use a shake every morning after working out as breakfast (I couldn't eat otherwise.... it'd be toooo yukky). I suppose that if my inches stopped going down, I'd have to revisit it... but it works for me. Good luck!

| Umm.. I used shakes for a while, when I stopped I went down a lot more a lot faster (obviously was not this time around). Some people can eat them without having bad results, some people can't. It depends on your body. I wouldn't suggest using them, there are a ton of other breakfast options that are quick and easy and you don't run the risk of stalling with. That being said, I wouldn't use them on induction. I would stick with a clean induction and eat only the foods that are listed in the acceptable food lists provided by Dr. A... the shakes/bars/cupcakes/whatever else were not included in these lists.

| Breakfast doesn't mean breakfast foods! Eat whatever the heck you want off of the acceptable foods list. If you want taco salad, eat taco salad. If you want chicken and cheese and bell peppers, eat that. Eat something that sounds good and tastes good and something that is legal for induction. I would stay away from the shakes, as they cause stalls in many people, and contain ingredients (like milk and soy) that are not suitable for induction. Dr. Atkins was a doctor, Atkins nutritionals is a company trying to make money.
