Oil Of Oregano.....miracle?

Last night I was starting to feel like I was coming down with something...I am a true believer in this stuff's ability to be a very powerful antioxidant, and it has never failed....but this morning I woke up, not only feeling better, but the system cleanse, well, ..... I dropped 4 lbs! I think it is a great supplement to take on this diet, as part of the goal is to clean out your system with all the proccessed junk we have eaten prior to changing our WOE.....but a whoosh? Who knew? There is tons of research on all the things oil of oregano is good for....it's not the same as the spice we cook with, but has a very potent taste...if you feel sickness coming on, take it right away, if you are already sick, after taking it you will feel much better after about 3 hours....but whoosie? New to me!

I discovered oil of oregano about 2/3 years ago. I used to get bladder/urinary tract infections all the time... And I also ended up having to go the doctor to get antibiotics to clear it up... Until I started working at a new job and met my bosses daughter. She rarely ever went to the doctor, and pretty much only used natural curing products for her illnesses...

She recommended oil of oregano to me.. I bought some of the gelcaps at my local
health store, and no joke I was feeling better within 2 hours. Ive never had to go to the doctor for UTIs since then. Whenever I feel UTI symptoms, I take a few and it cleanses me right out.
I always keep a bottle on hand!
Although, Ive never noticed the whoosh aspect, but hey now that im on this woe, maybe it will!

You know, I have a bottle of this, and didn't think to take it the last time I felt like I was coming down with something. I actually have Oregano essential oil, undiluted and it's very potent. I've taken a drop in water before, and it burns my lips. I wonder if I could dilute it in a carrier oil, and take it that way. The stuff is HOT!

I know the proper way to take the drops is drooping under your tongue for 10 sec....and rinsing with water....but it is potent!

You can get it all over the place on Ebay, or you might try Fresh Foods or a health food store.
Why not just use a bunch of fresh oregano in your cooking? It's inexpensive and also very easy to grow.

I used Oil of Oregano when I was battling the yeast, C. albicans. It is very strong, but I don't recall it ever causing whooshies. How interesting!

I also don't recommend purchasing it over E-bay unless you can see the expiration date, etc in a picture. You don't want to be taking old supplements!!!

Eating fresh oregano is also good as far as I'm concerned, but the concentrated stuff is just that, super-concentrated. I'm not certain how many plants you would need to make the extract, but it would be a lot!!! You're just getting more of the active ingredient in the extract compared to fresh.

I purchased mine as gelcaps for about 12 bucks I think (60 caps) at a health store here in California called "Henrys". The liquid stuff is probably more powerful, but the gels are easier and cheaper.. and I found that they work!
