| I'm scratching my head trying to remember if it was Dr Atkins who said that up to five eggs a day was ok... or if it was ADBB members' opinions. Anyway... don't think you need to worry if you eat around that number. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone. I eat at least two every day... and sometimes a few more.

| One thing to remember is that eggs contain 0.6 carbs per egg, so you are around 3 carbs with five. I would say your fine. But you could mix it up a bit and have home made chicken or tuna salad for lunch. Chicken and tuna are 0 carbs and a tablespoon of mayo is 0.1 carbs. |

| Eggs are an awesome, safe food, but if you eat them constantly you may get tired of them or develop an intolerance for them (for some people, anyway). Eat em, enjoy em, moderation is the key. And mixing the eggs up into other dishes is a good idea too.

| Eggs are fine as long as you count the carbs...and watch out for boredom or intolerance, as Maerow says! During induction, and lower levels of OWL, I'd eat about 2 dozen eggs a week. I would have an omelette (2 eggs during the week, 3 on weekends) for breakfast each day, an occasional hardboiled egg as a snack or in a salad, and some nights for dinner I'd have an omelette as well. Luckily I never got sick of them! I still eat eggs now, but only about 6 a week.
