Did anyone miss me? I haven't been on here in forever. I had a busy winter and didn't have much of a chance to get online. I miss everyone. I had plans to get on here earlier, but there was a shooting at our local high school today. I had to go get my kids from school. They are fine, but we are all a little shook up today. Pray for the girl that was shot please. The shooter killed himself and thankfully hurt nobody else.

Back to Atkins...I'm still on plan and loving it. I loved the positive press Atkins got this week! It's about time.

Welcome back Michelle. I'm glad your children are unharmed. These kinds of issues in the schools are very upsetting - I am praying for your children, the girl and the shooter's family.

My goodness, what drama you've just had! I do hope you're kids are not too shaken by such an experience and of course that the little girl who was shot makes a full recovery! Hugs all round.

The girl survived. It is amazing. She was shot in the elbow and 3 times in the chest and yet the bullets missed everything. On the news last night another ex girlfriend said that he had threatened to kill her and himself when they broke up, so it wasn't just an isolated incident with him. My kids are ok. They are getting ready for school right now. My younger daughter got the most upset. I hate that I have to tell them about things like this.
