| Out of principle, I have never had a trainer. As for my full fitness regime, I do 10 minutes of ab work 3 times per week, brisk-walk on a treadmill 20-30 minutes 3x/week, and do full-body resistance training with light weights 2-3x/week. | If I have to credit one person for inspiration on my Atkins journey, it just has to be Sheila! Whenever I get discouraged, I visit Sheila's site. When I'm grocery shopping and get tempted to buy something I shouldn't, I think "What would Sheila do?" Sheila and I are similar in height, our beginning weight & body shape was very similar, even down to similar goal weights. So it was natural that she became my role model in the Atkins way of life. Sheila, don't get creeped out but I even "borrowed" your workout schedule from your site, and am sticking to it. I love the Abs for Dummies DVD. If I look half as good as you do someday, I will be content with that. So thank you! Sarah, you are also incredible!!!! |
