| There is a brand of mayo, Dukes, that has no added sugars. Many members make their own mayo. I personally eat mayonnaise so rarely, I just use Hellmans and count the carbs. However, everyone reacts differently to sugars.

| I used to love my Mayo on the Atkins Diet. Used to have alot, needed to cut down a little. I tended to use it as a sauce for almost everything I was eating. A little praprika and pepper or Encona west indian hot sauce ( the smooth one with low carbs). Lovely. During the last month or so I have reduced my Mayo intake, perhaps I over did it and now my body rejects it, not sure. |

| Some people report they seem to develop intolerances for foods they eat a lot of. Maybe after a short break you will be able to eat mayo again.

| Here in Australia all the mayos seem to have sugar added too . I have found one in the Asian aisle of the supermarket though that has no sugar . It is called Kewpie mayonnaise and comes in a funny squishy bottle wrapped in a clear cello bag with a kewpie doll on it. It is a Japanese product and is very yummy! |

| A lot of times I will make homemade. However I have no problems using pots of mayo even if they contain sugar(as long as carb content is small). |

| Maggie is right, just make it homemade... it is very very easy. Take two eggs, crack it into a blender for food processer the turn it on. let it get frothy then drizzle olive oil or just vegetable oil (don't user extra virgin Olive oil .. I didn't get good results) and add dash of salt and pepper to season (garlic if you are bold, even basil for a nice taste). Just keep blending until you see it emulsivfy (turn pale white). Then chill and serve. The whole process takes about 5 minutes with a 1 hour chill you will be serving up your tuna with home made mayo (without sugar) in no time. Also if you want, I added a tsp of splenda with the mayo to give it a sweeter test.. this helps too. 1/2 tsp with 1 egg btw. The out put is about 6 tbl spoons of may with 2 eggs. This would be enough for two cans of tuna. Just try it out, you will be happy that you did. You can even add the Emeril "Bam" with some essence to spice up the mayo. Enjoy
