Now I have to explain my water too!

A co-worker has noticed that I'm eating differently. The rest of the people in the office order out a couple days a week and it's always food loaded with carbs and fat. (Of course I was doing it right along with them until I started Atkins.)

Now she's asking about my water too. "Did you just come through here with more water?" "You had two bottles." "You had two earlier, didn't you?" "How much water are you drinking?"

She knows I'm doing Atkins so I guess she's not questioning the food, but she sure seems to have a problem with me drinking water! Maybe it's making her feel guilty for running out every day and bringing back a 32 oz Coke... full sugar version too.

Oh well.. I'm grumpy and just needed to vent. I didn't realize the water police were out today, and if I want to drink a dozen bottles of water a day I will!

(I'm probably drinking 125 oz a day.)

not to worry! perhaps it is just an observation...just smile and say "yes i am!" and keep glowing with your weight loss and beautiful skin! i find that when i smile a lot, it makes people wonder what i am up to!

Oh gosh... I really AM noticing a huge difference in my skin. It's starting to look a lot better!

Yeah, people have wondered about the water. But I'd rather they ask since I go to the bathroom constantly...I'd rather they know that I keep visiting because I have to go potty, not because I'm like, doing drugs or something (or whatever other illicit activities one does in a bathroom.)

My students go crazy because I always have a lemon slice in my water bottle. They think that's just too cool. And you know what, they've become the lemon slice police. They notice IMMEDIATELY if I don't have any lemon, and they ask me what the deal is. So the next day I'm back on track with lemon for fear of being chastised publicly by 9 year olds.

When I was in an office situation I was always commended for all the water I drink. Sounds like she might be feeling guilty

The water police! I LOVE IT!!! Good for you and keep it up ! I am trying soooooooo hard to drink more, but the constantly getting up for the bathroom is a pain when I am at work ..especially that I have to announce that I am leaving ( I answer the phone) and that I work with 4 guys...how embarassing!
