| Every month I gain anywhere from 3 to 8 lbs of water weight. it goes away after...I find that keeping up with regular cardio exercise, it stays closer to the 3lbs than 8.

| Ditto to what Jen said. I retain water during my TOM. So I don't weigh or measure during that time (to keep my sanity.) As long as I remain doing what I'm supposed to be doing, I don't worry about the water weight 'gain'.

| I usually gain 3-5, but lose 8-10 afterwards (hopefully, to include the weight that I would have normally lost!!) ;-D

| Thanks guys...I had been losing really steady about 1lb/day(on extended induction)until now and I have actually gained 2.5 back but I know I havent done anything bad so fingers crossed thats what it is...maybe I'll get a big surprise in a few days and it'll drop off
