| Personally I wouldn't eat it. Give it away, share it with friends and family, but don't eat it. I value my success and my drive and determination on Atkins, and I wouldn't want to sacrifice that, just as you probably don't want to take away progress or regain some of those 9 pounds that you worked so hard to lose! Many people have a "just one bite won't hurt" mentality, and those are often the people who disappear for 3 months and then reappear completely off the wagon. Even if the egg were expensive...you health and wellbeing is priceless.

| I would think that your husband would support you now and not expect you to eat the egg. Tell him how thoughtful it was of him and under other circumstances you would have dug right into it. Please dont sabotage yourself to please your husband. He should be understanding. And if he is not well then he will just have to deal with it. It will be easier for him to get over the dissapointment of you not eating the egg, than it will be for you to get over your guilt and get back on track after eating it. |

| Perhaps hubbie would be interested in helping you decorate 'real' Easter eggs for you to eat (you can get the decorating kits on sale now!!) Hard boil up some eggs, and spend the evening decorating them for each other...
