| Stevia is allowed and is my preferred sweetener. I did the fat flush plan once. I shudder to think of it again. I thought it was awful, but I did lose some weight. Gained it all back though. |

| ditto fat flush... not a good option.. gain back as soon as you go back on regular induction. I am not to fond of Stevia although it is suppose to be better for us. |

| Is the Fat Flush one of those horrible cabbage soup-type diets? YUKKO! I love stevia, and I use it whenever I can in place of splenda or other sweeteners. It tastes more natural to me--I use it with cheeses, whipped cream, pumpkin, etc. I use the stevia extract, which comes in a bottle with a dropper. Also available is powdered stevia, which I haven't tried, and stevia syrup, which has carbs. Stevia extract is the best stuff, IMO.

| Yes stevia is allowed. I find it best if used in conjunction with another sweetner like splenda.

| Speaking of Stevia....I was at Wild Oats yesterday and they have the bottles of stevia FLAVORED with extract...chocolate, orange, almond, etc. etc. So, if any of you have a WIld Oats store close by....(Sorry Julie) they are located with the vitamins and supplements. I personally have not tried them.

| Joy, did you notice who makes those extracts? I don't have a Wild Oats, but I do have a locally owned health food store that is just wonderful about ordering stuff for me. Thanks, Di |

| I prefer the powdered Stevia. The liquid tastes too much like licorice to me, which I really don't like. I got SteviaPlus packets at WalMart. The only trouble with them is they are sometimes hard to dissolve, and if you get a little hard piece of it, it will taste bitter. The other thing is they have a natural fiber in them which could stall some people or cause digestive problems. I've never had any trouble with that, but then I only use a packet or occasionally two a day at most.
