| It could be from constipation or from TOM. I usually gain weight during TOM (I think most women do!), and I ignore the scale during this time--why torture myself? Constipation could cause a weight gain, too. Keep drinking your water! I believe 1/4c. of fiber will hold on to 2 pounds of water. The way to flush it out is to keep drinking that water. Unless you've consumed an extra 7000 calories, that weight is NOT fat, it's water. Keep following the plan, drink your water, and within a few days you should be able to flush out those 2 pounds. Just in case, perhaps you should post a couple days of menus in the "Review My Menu" section. Sometimes hidden sugars, salty foods, or processed foods can also cause temporary weight gain.

| Juli - thanks for the kind words. I'll keep drinking my water. I think I might be eating too many veggies. I've been having 5 or 6 cups or more. It's hard to tell because I don't measure and I always eat out. No one in NY actually eats at home. |

| Col, I don't bother weighing the week before, or during TOM. Why beat my head against a wall when I know I'm going to retain water and see a "gain"? |
