Default Lemon Water???

Ok...I may be a moron for asking but is it ok to have 8 oz hot water with 1/2 a lemon in it on induction?

Nah, you're no moron....well, according to another post, we're ALL morons just for doing Atkins, but I digress....

The book states that we can have 2 or 3 Tbsp. of lemon or lime juice each day but warns that they may slow down weight loss. It's a your-mileage-may-vary thing, I guess.

hi dixie! i have had water with lemon and it didnt affect me at all. outside of the fact that i got tired of lemon and just went with plain water. if taste concerns you, try different types of drinking water. i found that using a brita filter made the water easier for me to drink. i even found a new interest in mineral water. btw you are doing great and hope you break through to your goal.

Go for the lemon! I drink my water with a slice of lemon almost everyday. I've tried lime too, but WHOA that was a bit too intense for me. Others have also mentioned using cucumber slices to flavor water.

It is not the flavor of the water…I drank over 120 oz of plain bottled water yesterday. I just have been hearing about the wonders of ½ a lemon squeezed in hot water. It has been in 3 different magazines I have recently read and I remember it from the fat flush plan. I am still waiting patiently for the berry rung to add back in the cran-water.

I LOVE lemon in my water!!!! I add one-half lemon to warm water every morning. It's a great detoxer and gives me a little zip to wake me up.
