Aspartame!!

Hi All

I have just heard a report on the radio here in Australia about a young lady who was suffering from cramps, tingling sensations , insomnia, depression etc etc . She was constantly chewing a sugarless chewing gum sweetened with Aspartame and when she gave up the gum the symptoms disappeared. They worked out that the Aspartame was causing the problems. Something to Ponder

Doesnt surprise me in the slightest, it also stalls weight which will depress people!!

Scary, isn't it? I've heard the same about someone who thought they may have had MS, (I think it was MS) until they stopped drinking Diet Coke.

My mil had all kinds of crazy reactions to aspartame - dizziness, migraines, weakness, lethargy. It was scary. There were times when she didn't know what she had been doing just minutes before. She had started drinking Diet Coke and eating sugar free products like Jell-O on the advice of a doctor. Once she stopped eating and drinking that stuff, the symptoms totally disappeared.

Aspartame never affected me that way, but I don't want it to stall me. One the rare occasion I eat something or drink something like that, I make sure it's sweetened with Splenda.

For so many years I was a user of this substance. It's heavily promoted at Weight Watchers, and I was a total WW fool.

It never affected me (or did it) up until a few years ago when I was getting heart palpitations.

They went away when I gave up aspartame. It was also giving me blidinging headaches.

After reading all the stuff, I decided to remove it from my life.
