| Being in ketosis is kind of like being pregnant. Either you ARE or you are NOT. So, if the sticks change colors...then you ARE. However, you can still be in ketosis and not register on the sticks at all as well. Simply, they are a nice tool, but not required. Many members don't use them at all and make it to their goals just fine. As for L-carnitine...I've recently added it to my supplement list. I can't really tell if it's helping me lose more becuase I just made goal....so not really losing anymore. I take it to help with muscle endurance for my running. One of the Many benefits of L-carnitine.
