| Hi, Lily ![]() This is very good news! It can be hard at first, but if you will just get cleanly through the first week, it will get easier. By the time 2 weeks are up, it will be smooth sailing. I would then move on to OWL. Make sure you stay close to the board, and ask questions. YOU CAN DO THIS! |

| Good for you not waiting! It's a great feeling once you realize how much control you have, and when you can start early, it's that much more cooler!!! Speaking of coolers....if you got one handy, keep it full of good things while you're out celebrating the 4th. You'll be overprepared, but prepared for anything that comes your way. |

| Congrats to u. I wish i didnt fail the 1st 4x I tried. After I found this board I am @ day 10 with 10lbs gone and feel sooo good. My son and I walked 4miles after work today! Please come here everyday and ask anything that pops in your head, oh and don't forget your water and make sure u eat!! Somedays you dont feel like it but if you dont you'll get tempted 2 grab something not good 4 you. Best wishes on your journey! |

| Congrats Lily on the decision to start. Don't let the fourth throw you. What I do is bring a homemade broccoli salad for everyone, made with ranch dressing instead of the sugar dressing, I put in walnuts instead of raisins and I use sharp cheddar cheese. Then I eat a cheese burger without the roll. That way I stay away from the macaroni salads and potato salads........Dawn |

| Welcome Lily. The most important thing is to have a plan in advance, so temptation won't catch you unaware.... dawn's broccoli salad sounds terrific (You shouldn t eat walnuts during induction, though)... and also be sure to count the veggie portions... so July 4th sounds pretty yummy to me! barbeque time! Yep, but say no to BBQ Sauce ... welcome aboard!! Let's celebrate our independence from carbs that made us fat!!
