| Have you been eating your veggies? I believe many people have mentioned that veggie intake is extremely important. Three cups a day. You also have to be careful with how many nuts/ounces of nuts you eat. I think some people have mentioned nuts make them stall. Water in take is imporant, too. You could just be losing it slowly, too. Have you lost inches? For me it's the inches that really add up. My belly is considerably smaller. What phase are you on? (just curious) |

| I'm really trying to continue induction even though I'm at the 25 day mark because i had one cheat day. I had nuts only 1 day last week. Basically, I'm on a strict food budget for the month so I didn't get any vegatables. I have 20 beef patties left over for this month and have 13 cans of tuna reserved for the rest of this month. I also put a little lettuce in the tuna. So thats what i have to eat for the month. I hope it's going to be enough!! |

| i think 8 pounds is pretty darn fantastic! thought veggies are a VERY VERY important part of this WOE and you NEED to eat your 3 cups daily! theres no fat in your food either, the more fat you eat, the faster you lose! at least thats how it happens with me!

| Buy frozen veggies on sale. Easy way to stock up and get some fiber into your diet!!!! In the meantime, buy one fresh veggie item every couple of days. Not a lot of money, but a lot of bang for your buck! Finally, cook, bake, slow-cook, stew . . . add veggies to your meals! Shred some cabbage or lettuce with your tuna, add a slice of tomato or mushrooms to your burger. Do you have room to grow your own? One tomato plant? Find ways to add veggies in!!!! Also, 8 pounds is great. What's your goal? Maybe you've lost 10% of your intended goal? If so, that's a great indicator of how you're doing. And measure! Good luck, Stacy

| Ok, let me be blunt, here. You have NOT been on Atkins for 25 days. You have been eating only meat and fish for 25 days. There's a big difference. On Atkins, you are REQUIRED to eat veggies. It's not an option. If you aren't eating the veggies as directed, you are not doing Atkins. I think it's great that you've lost 8 lbs on such an unhealthy diet. I seriously worry about what is happening to your bones, muscles, and internal organs. I suggest that you return to your normal pattern of eating until you can afford to eat 2 cups of salad greens and one cup of broccolli, zuchhini, or some other acceptable veggie into your plan EACH DAY. |

| Evermind... thanks for being blunt... your post got to me....I don't want to screw up my body. I only have cucumbers and lettuce here in the house for veggies at the moment. We are on a strict income over here, but when i get a chance to go shopping again I'll get some brocholi and celery... i hope my body will be okay till I'm able to put more nutritional veggies on the menu. cyberspacestar |
