Water Question

So we're supposed to drink 8-8oz glasses of water, right? That's 64 ounces right there and then another 8oz for every 25 lbs we want to lose, right?

So when you start dropping weight say you drop 25lbs, do you decrease your water intake?
And no I'm not planning on decreasing my water, I just didn't know and it struck my curiousity
