| I would not have them until you reached goal. They can be quite high in calories and addictive. Some folks can handle them but for most it can make you stall or gain. |

| I agree... wait until maintenance for that stuff. The bars and shakes are reknowned stallers and the bake mix I believe has soy flour in it, so wouldn't be legal until the right rung of the OWL ladder anyway. Better safe than sorry when it comes to frankenfoods, and I reckon these are frankenfoods, despite the Atkins label.

| They really effect me quite badly. I have given them up for good now.

| the stall me out... the best advice (and probably the only advice you'll get on this board) is to stay away from them until maintenance time,

| They are definitely not all they are cracked up to be. I used to quite like them, but the big downside is the fact that they turned out to be a trigger food for me.

| Have you tried them? They taste gross and they hit your stomach hard. I wouldn't eat them. |

| Hi, Angel! I've never had any use for commercial low-carb products. They are not kept in my kitchen unless I specifically require them to bake low-carb desserts on the weekends - and and those are very few and far between. Exceptions! Two particular brands of whey protein powder that I will have every so often, and low-carb ketchup for my bunless burgers.

| If you read deeper in the OWL part of the 2002 book, you will find that Dr. A says the LC Atkins products are for emergency purposes and other occasions, not to rely on while you're changing a high carbed diet into a low carb life style change. It's all about eating foods that work to help control the food instead of it controlling you. Besides, the product business after Dr. A passed away is mainly out for the money, not to help people change their eating for life. Save your money |
