| What's done is done. Good that you're now back on track. Now's the time to look to the future and learn from the past. Try to pinpoint exactly what caused you to lapse... I know it was a fight with BF, but maybe there was something very specific in that fight, that set you off on the carb binge, that you could recognise (and avoid) another time. I'd go back to induction for a few days, to get back into ketosis, then go back to whatever phase of the plan you were on before your lapse. Remember to drink masses.

| No, eat like your normal first day of induction. You have to start all over again to flush out your system. Keep downing the water and EAT! Throw in some exercise too - dont starve!

| Your on the right track to get back into ketosis -- but its really important that you make plans for the next time you are emotionally trying to cope with an issue in your life. Write out what you'll do in place of eating. {walk, work-out, read something motivational, write thoughts in journal, have a weight loss buddy to call, motivational music to listen to, drink water, meditate, a friend to visit..anything besides eat} If its thought out and written down...you can grab it instead of food.

| Hi cyber, the last time I carbed it up I didn't get back into ketosis for a week. Normally when I start Induction after being away for a while it only takes a couple of days, but when fall away after working it, it takes quite a bit longer. I don't know why, it's weird. The thing I love about Atkins is that you never have to do without or be hungry. If you're hungry, eat, just make sure it's from the foods on you current stage/rung list, and keep the carbs in check. I also have a bunch of legal "snack" food around that I can eat in an emergency (I'm also an emotional eater). I eat those things, so even if I go over my carb allowance for the day, it was still on "legal" food and didn't throw me completely off track. I'm not sure why your back would be sore, maybe you could try some extra fibre to flush out the extra carby food you ate. That might help. Glad to hear you're feeling better!
