I first ran into one of those people a few years back on another board. A guy was posing as a divorced woman who was having financial and emotional problems. A lot of people got very emotionally involved and eventually sent donations before he/she was found out.

This is the first time I have ever seen the problem defined. I really do appreciate the warning.
